We stopped overnight at Kerrville State Park in Kerrville, Texas, north of San Antonio, and when the lady checked us in at 5 pm, she said, "the deer will be at your site to greet you." She wasn't kidding! We only got a few photos, but a whole herd gathered 'round, including the handsome fella below! This is a beautiful quiet park on the Guadalupe River. We hope to make it thru Texas by tomorrow night!
