Provo Utah 9/19/08

After one day in (smoggy) Salt Lake City, touring Temple Square, we drove south for Provo. We wanted to ride their 15-mile (one way) Provo Canyon bike trail, which started directly behind our campground, and ended UP at Vivian Park. After scouting out the canyon in our wonderful RV all the way to Heber City and its RR, we spotted an Ikea and Cabella's and the RV turned in all by itself. Bought a new frying pan for the condo at Ikea and nothing at Cabella's because the hired help wouldn't help us. The next day we hopped on our bikes and rode the trail. The uphill took some time, but the downhill... yeehaw! Great ride. Bridal Veil Falls was quite spectacular. The movie screen across from the falls is inflatable and movies are shown there to raise money for charity. Tomorrow night's show is Chariots of Fire! (as always, click on any photo to enlarge)
