The cow on the right may have missed the morning's milking?
Laundry first. Then a special trip to Tillamook Creamery for a self-guided tour, but mostly to taste delicious Tillamook cheeses. YUM! Celebrating their 100 year anniversary this year, the farmer-owned creamery makes some of the best cheese I’ve tasted! And a terrific grilled cheese/tomato/bacon sandwich. The cows who contribute to the fine products are udderly friendly, and rushed to the fence near the road when we stopped with our camera. Go to http://www.tillamookcheese.com/
On the way home, we stopped in Oceanside for coffee at a quaint beachside coffee house, and a dish of berry cobbler, more YUM. Walked along the beach at low tide, found a tunnel hacked thru solid rock to another beach and kept on walking. Picked up quite a few agates, a piece of jade, etc. Got a nice pile of rocks in the RV. Chilly and windy on the beach (as usual), but we enjoy being out there.
