In the Deep South we wait all summer for mornings like these: Crispy cool and clear. Perfect for a stroll around the 2+ mile Southwood lakes, wearing a light jacket in the 60F weather. Click on any photo to enlarge.

Canada geese. One of the nature walk signs along the path. Flowers, w/ condos across the lake.

A favorite tree. Three of six Buteos (red-tailed hawks) performing aerial maneuvers. No baldies seen today.

A bridge spanning the smaller lake. Jimmy - happy to be outside on a gorgeous day!

Our condos across the lake. Didn't see our friend, Sherman. Everywhere a lovely picture.

Jimmy walking to our building. At our door. Gazebo and a pond opposite our condo with lots of fish and turtles. What a great place to live...!
