Newfoundland! July 5th, 2010

All aboard Marine-Atlantic's Caribou for the 5+ hour crossing from Sydney, Nova Scotia to Channel-Port-aux-Basques, on the west coast of Newfoundland. Left NS at 4:45pm ATL time, arrived NFL in light rain and wind @ 10:30pm NFL time. We enjoyed the smooth crossing, spending most of our time reading in the comfy lounge chairs.

There she is!

We had an easy homemade salmon salad and brown bread for dinner. Now we're in new territory again: Yeehaw, Let the Good Times Roll!  For starters, we plan to drive up NFL's west coast, stopping when and wherever we want.  So looking forward to seeing this province!
