 ... while a white-tailed deer watches on the opposite bank.

From Mallard's Rest to our RV Park, roughly 12 miles, we flowed downriver in the current, with the wind at our backs (nice!). This section of the river is a continuation of where we left off last year ... and this time we wanted to take out at our campsite. The water level was lower than before and we encountered a lot more rapids and drops in this stretch, which made for a very exciting trip! Don't have photos of rapids, as we were both paddling like mad! Got doused a couple of times, but no biggie. Got home safe and dried off! Very enjoyable. Cool things to see.
