This is a bang-up way to begin a trip! Waking up the morning we planned to leave to a large storm-split tree, which - thank heavens - missed both the RV and the Prius. We'd moved the Prius from that spot two days before! Heavy damage to one car, some damage to the other, belonging to nice neighbors of ours. Because of this mess, we didn't roll out till after 9 AM, pointed toward Montana. Take us a while to get there!
Uh-huh: tire issues in Mississippi sidetracked us when we somehow sliced a rear tire, which we had plugged. The next day, the same tire gave us fits and we had it replaced in Humansville (really!) Missouri, which took time. Before that happened, we stumbled up on Mammoth Springs, a world-famous natural spring in north central Arkansas. With a water flow of 9.78 million gallons per hour (constant 58F temp), it's very impressive. Glad we stopped for a look-see. Much better than the innards of a tire store!
